I just had a really interesting conversation with one of my clients and thought it was really worth sharing. It went like this…
Agent: “Emma, how much are we spending on my Facebook Advertising?”
Me: “We are spending approximately $10 per day and generating on average 2-4 leads per day.”
Agent: “Well, I have just spent $3,000 on a DL Flyer drop to 20,000 homes and did not get a single response or phone call. This old school form of Advertising is dead. Lets increase my Ad spend to $1,500 – $2,000 per month and blanket my area in advertising. At the moment this form of Advertising is cheap and I want to dominate in the area before all the big guns come in and we can’t afford it anymore!”
Me: “Let’s do it!”
This conversation just got me thinking about how important it is to make sure that you are measuring your ROI across ALL forms of Advertising and making sure that you are focusing on the areas that are producing results for your business!
